Is unresolved grief preventing you from moving on?
Do you struggle with anger and bitterness as a result of the loss of a loved one?
Perhaps you feel that their death should not have happened. Or maybe the circumstances surrounding how they died trigger feelings of resentment or helplessness.
Does moving on emotionally mean you are leaving them behind?
Does this make you feel guilty, or lost in limbo?
Are you grieving for someone who is still here physically but who is lost to you emotionally and spiritually?
We are very good at being kind and empathetic towards others, but reflect that back on ourselves and we experience a sense of unworthiness.
With over 30 years experience working as a Nurse, mostly in palliative care, I have had the privilege of supporting many Families going through the grieving process. I can listen, empathise and assist you in finding a way forward.
Having a Nursing background combined with experience on Counselling and Coaching I am in the unique position to offer a multi faceted approach to unresolved grief and loss.
Clients often want to understand why a loved one has died, in the first instance. They find this process cathartic as it deepens their understanding of why a loved one passed away, particularly in the event of a sudden or unexpected death.
I think it is helpful for us to talk over the phone first, to see if we can work together. And for that reason I offer a free, no obligation telephone consultation. Rest assured this is simply an opportunity for you to talk in a safe and confidential environment.
This is your journey, and I believe that you will know, just from talking to me, whether or not I can support you in your grief counselling in Addingham and Ilkley.
An initial one hour session costs £60. However I find that clients benefit more from weekly sessions, delivered over a 6 week period.
I offer a free 30 minute (no obligation) telephone consultation, in order to ascertain your current circumstances and provide you with the opportunity to ask questions about the services I offer and how I may be able to support you.
A bespoke package can be tailored to your individual needs, designed to cover a period of 6 weeks. This is entirely flexible, we can navigate what is best for you at our first meeting.
I am a Mum of 3 and a Registered General Nurse with over 30 years experience in the field of palliative care, dementia care and neurological disorders.

I have struggled with my own mental health battles, an often painful journey which has ultimately led me to where I am today.
I am now in the unique position to offer Coaching, well-being and counselling services. My background in healthcare combined with my own personal journey allows me to support, guide and empathise in equal measure.
Whatever your current circumstances, we can tailor a package that best suits your needs and future direction. You can be assured that we will work together, in a safe environment without judgement and at your pace. Discretion and confidentiality are paramount to the relationship that we will build, founded on trust and mutual respect.
